Reservoir Dogs is a movie that captivated people around the world, and made people start wondering who Quentin Tarantino was. It was his directorial debut and already he had begun to acquire a cult following. Two years later, Quentin did what everyone thought was impossible and made another masterpiece, Pulp Fiction. This movie is how Quentin made his mark in Hollywood.

The film won best picture at the Cannes Film Festival and Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary both received oscars for co-writing the script. Besides these two great films, Tarantino had also been making his name known by selling scripts such as Natural Born Killers, True Romance, and From Dusk Till Dawn and doing some script polishing jobs on Crimson Tide, and It's Pat.

His next film (Four Rooms) was a joint venture among four of hollywood's most popular directors. Alison Anders, Alexandre Rockwell, Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino all directed their own segments in this movie, which ended up coming off as a film where the four of them just had fun making a movie with some good friends.

Quentin's next big job was From Dusk Till Dawn. He wrote, executive produced, acted, and basically co-directed this movie with Robert Rodriguez. There are some who would say that Quentin Tarantino was a two hit wonder, only having directed two films, and would never make another great one like Dogs or Pulp. All of these presumptions, however, were laid to rest the day Jackie Brown was released.

On December 25th, 1997, Quentin Tarantino proved to the world once and for all that he is no two hit wonder, and that he can make all kinds of movies. Now, what Mr. Tarantino's future holds from here on out is unknown, but there is one thing that I do know...it is looking very good, and we should all be very excited about what is in store for us next.
